#### Graphic Design

Students will learn how to make photos pop and create eye-catching graphics with Adobe Photoshop, design print and web layouts with Adobe InDesign, and create logos, icons, and other scalable images with Adobe Illustrator. Along the way, the class will go over important concepts for professional designers and best practices for graphic design.

#### UX & UI Design

After learning about traditional graphic design, the class will get a strong basis in user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design. Using Figma, today's most popular UX/UI app, students will build clickable prototypes for applications that they can test and refine.

#### Portfolio Development & More

This course will give high school students a chance to build a portfolio, learn the ins and outs of design, and gain useful skills that can be applied in college, jobs, internships, extracurricular activities, and more. You'll also get a look at how AI is changing the design world. From generating visual concepts to streamlining UX research, AI is becoming a go-to tool for designers, and this course will help you understand where it fits alongside the skills you're developing. At the conclusion of the course, students will receive a Certificate of Completion that they can add to their resume and LinkedIn account.
