# Excel, Finance, & Investing Summer Program NYC (High School) Canonical URL: ## Overview Learn the most essential business application, Microsoft Excel, while conquering finance and business concepts. This beginner-friendly program is ideal for high school and college students interested in finance, business, real estate, entrepreneurship, and many other related fields. This course will help students gain an advantage in college and internships, as you will learn all the skills employers will be looking for. You'll also explore how AI fits into today's financial landscape. From flagging investment opportunities to building smarter data models, AI is becoming a core part of how the finance industry operates, and you'll come away understanding how it connects to the fundamentals you're studying. This course will be held in-person in NYC over the course of one week in the summer (10am-4pm each day with one hour for lunch). You'll learn everything you need to know to become an Excel pro. ### Finance & Investing Learn what moves stock prices and how stocks are valued by investors. In this course, you will learn the essentials of valuation (such as P/E ratios and DCF analysis), financial statements, and fundamentals of stock investing. We will analyze recent earnings releases and valuation multiples of companies such as Google and Apple to provide a framework for fundamental investment research. ### Instructors Students will learn from top instructors in Excel and finance with years of experience teaching.
