## Overview

Want to start learning Microsoft Excel for a summer job or internship, college courses, or even just for fun? Join this high school summer class designed to equip students with essential Excel skills, ranging from the basics to advanced techniques.

#### Foundations of Excel

The course kicks off with an exploration of Excel's foundational concepts, including navigating the interface, entering data, formatting cells, and basic formulas. Students will gain confidence in performing essential tasks and understand the importance of data organization.

#### Essential Functions and Formulas

Building upon the basics, students will gets hands-on experience in the Excel functions and formulas essential for data analysis and manipulation. From SUM and AVERAGE to VLOOKUP and IF statements, the class will learn how to leverage these tools to extract insights and solve real-world problems.

#### Data Visualization

By working on mini projects, students will learn how to construct data visualizations using Excel's charting and graphing tools. These will include simple charts, tables, and graphs, along with more complex visualizations like Pivot Tables and Pivot Charts.

#### Practical Applications and Projects

Throughout the bootcamp, students will apply their newfound Excel skills to real-world scenarios and projects to gain practical experience in using Excel for diverse applications.
