In this course, you'll learn the skills to create polished video projects, including how to import footage, organize your media in a timeline, speed up and slow down footage, color-correct video, and other foundational editing techniques. Whether you're thinking of starting a YouTube channel, considering a career in the film industry, or want to take your TikToks to the next level, this class will get you started. This course also covers AI and how it fits into modern video editing. AI-powered tools are changing the way editors work, from automated color correction to smart audio cleanup, so you'll understand the technology that's reshaping the skills you're building.

No video editing experience? No problem! This program is designed for students without prior editing or design experience.

You may attend this training virtually (online) at the scheduled time the course is offered (New York, Eastern Time).

##### How does attending “live online” work?

- Students can attend this training remotely through screen sharing software (we use Zoom).
- Participants can hear the instruction, ask questions, and even share their screen with the instructor.
- For audio you can use your computer’s microphone/speakers or call a phone number that we’ll provide.
- Classes are activity-based and taught by a live instructor, so we strongly encourage students who are local to the area to attend in person!

### Can I use a Chromebook for this class?

No, a Chromebook  **will not**  work for this class. 

Students must have a PC or Mac with Adobe Premiere Pro installed.
