Students will begin with learning the most essential business application, Microsoft Excel, while conquering finance and business concepts. This beginner-friendly program is ideal for high school and college students interested in finance, business, real estate, entrepreneurship, and many other related fields. This course will help students gain an advantage in college and internships as you will learn all the skills employers will be looking for.
In the second half of the program, students will learn the fundamentals of Python code and then transition into more complicated programming tasks. You'll learn data science concepts using Pandas, Matplotlib, and Sci-Kit learn. These packages will teach you how to input, analyze, and graph data.
This course will be held live online over the course of five weeks in the summer (10am-1pm each day).
Become an advanced Microsoft Excel user in just three days. Begin with data entry, charts, and essential shortcuts in Excel Fundamentals. Go to the next level with Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP in Intermediate Excel. Automate your workflow by recording macros in Advanced Excel. You'll learn everything you need to know to become an Excel pro.
Learn what moves stock prices and how stocks are valued by investors. In this course, you will learn the essentials of valuation (such as P/E ratios and DCF analysis), financial statements, and fundamentals of stock investing. We will analyze recent earnings releases and valuation multiples of companies such as Google and Apple to provide a framework for fundamental investment research.
This course will cover the fundamentals of Python programming and its applications in data science and machine learning. Students will get up and running in Python quickly and be ready to use Python for data analysis projects.
This is the recommended order, but some courses may be taken in a different order.
Unit 1 25 Hours
Gain a competitive edge in business and finance with this in-person summer program designed for high school students. Through hands-on training in Microsoft Excel and real-world case studies, students will learn to analyze financial data, evaluate companies, and understand the principles behind investing and corporate finance.
Unit 2 45 Hours
This course introduces high school students to the core principles of Python programming for data science and artificial intelligence. Through hands-on lessons and real-world projects, students will gain practical experience in data analysis, machine learning, and visualization techniques.

The class was very hands-on and I had a great time learning about Python while coding along with the class.
The instructor takes time to explain concepts which makes them easier for us to understand and assists the students whenever they have problems with their code. The material is good for learning the basics of python which is applicable for the more complicated parts of the class content.
The amount of information we were able to learn within such a short amount of time was incredible. The information all fit together very well. Not once did I feel lost or confused about what we were learning.
