Ever wish you could just tell a computer what to build and watch it happen? That's exactly what Claude Code lets you do. Claude Code isn't just autocomplete. It can read through entire projects, find bugs, write new features, and make changes across multiple files. In this hands-on course designed for high school students, you'll learn how to use AI as your personal coding assistant, with no prior coding or AI experience needed.

Students will learn how to write clear prompts that get real results, debug broken code with AI assistance, and build projects across multiple files. The curriculum also walks through setting up safety checkpoints so nothing goes wrong permanently, keeping you in control of what the AI actually does to your code.

Method of Delivery: Live Online (live-streamed with the ability to ask questions and interact with the instructor in real-time).
Prerequisites & Ages: The program is designed for high school and college students. Prior coding/AI experience is not required, but students must be comfortable with computer basics.

However, if you plan to take the course live online, you may need to obtain required software. We’ll help you get set up with a free trial of paid software prior to the class. Most of our coding classes utilize freely-available open-source software. For most of our design and motion graphics courses, we will help you get set up with a free trial of Adobe Creative Cloud. If you attend the course in-person, we will have a computer already set up for you with all of the required software for no additional cost.
